Resource Hub for Outdoor Education in Manitoba
Co-founded by Wilderland Adventure Co. and Riversong Wilderness Outfitters, our mission is to inspire, empower, and support educators and schools to grow outdoor learning opportunities for students in Manitoba, Canada.
Both licensed Manitoba operators, we collectively have extensive experience leading events and supporting local schools to create holistic student outdoor learning throughout the province.

How We Help Educators
Fun & Recreation
Let's get students out of their desks and moving around with fun and exciting games, challenges, and activities. We help facilitate themed events that are rooted in curricular outcomes and learning objectives. Embrace Nature, Adventure, and Canadian Heritage inside your classroom, outdoor space, local park, or Manitoba campground.
Day Adventures
Let's explore Manitoba's incredibly diverse parks to seek natural and historical treasures. Enjoy a fresh perspective of heritage and environmental learning through a floating classroom or trail experience with your students.
We provide guided hiking, canoeing, and snowshoeing adventures to suit your learning objectives and budget. All events are planned and facilitated by certified and experienced local outdoor leaders.
Camping Trips
Camping in a local provincial park is a quintessential Canadian experience with so many rewards and benefits for students. Our expert facilitators provide a fun and engaging outdoor experience full of outdoor learning and engagement to the natural world. Students will learn how to set up a tent, cook outdoors, and enjoy outdoor pursuits like hiking and paddling. We take care of as much or little as you require.
Wilderness Trips
The ultimate way to experience an adventure in Manitoba! Join us for a canoe trip, hiking endeavour, or winter trek into wild places. Partial and fully guided programs are available. We provide all the gear, safety equipment, professional guides (certified AND extensive experience), and meal options.
We help students experience an adventure to surely launch them into a lifelong journey of exploration and discovery of themselves and the world around them.
Professional Development
Are you or a team of educators from your school looking to grow your outdoor education programs? We can help!
We advocate and coordinate professional development through outdoor skills and leadership training. Paddle Canada, Outdoor Council of Canada, and more.
Wilderland Adventure Co. and Riversong Wilderness Outfitters both facilitate outdoor training in Manitoba.
Events & Community
We host various special Events and Community Networking to help Manitoban educators engage with one another, learn about opportunities for outdoor leadership development, and gain resources to help grow outdoor programs.
